Who's Who
What is now currently known today as Brewer-Caldwell Property Management all started out with two small town boys, Brett Brewer and Thomas Caldwell taking a leap of faith; One declining a professional baseball career, and the other one setting aside his aspirations to be a lawyer. They took out a loan with hopes that this idea of theirs would work. Only to discover that on the first day the doors opened, the cover of that day's newspaper stated a property management company would be one of the least profitable companies to start at the current time. Brett and Tom started out their first day of work with no desks and one phone, dressed to sell, looking their best in suits and ties. The first two years of business was off to a great start in Brett and Tom's eyes. They had hired two new agents and were busy managing over 100 homes. Little did they know what was in store...
Thomas V. Caldwell
President and Broker of Brewer-Caldwell Property Managment Inc.
Tom graduated from ASU with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. After dreaming with his childhood friend Brett, they started Brewer-Caldwell in 1998. Tom also has helped create a vertical integrated system with his ownership in Kadeez Maintenance, Integrity Lending, Brewer-Lloyd Insurance, Lewis Home Inspections, Apex Title and TCBB. Tom is the motivation and enthusiasm that drives Brewer-Caldwell and the Sales Department. Tom personally owns over 30 properties including 5 commercial buildings, and continues to purchase in the same areas he sells. He is an expert in finding incredible deals, real estate education, and mentoring people through every step of real estate to help them reach their goals.
D. Brett Brewer
Vice President and Associate Broker
Brett was drafted directly out of high school to play professional baseball for the Atlanta Braves. After a shoulder injury, he came back to Arizona. After dreaming with his childhood friend Tom, they started Brewer-Caldwell in 1998. Brett is an owner in all Brewer-Caldwell locations including Tucson, Gilbert, and the White Mountains. His entrepreneurial spirit and hard work helped him into creating Kadeez Maintenance, Integrity Lending, Brewer-Lloyd Insurance, Lewis Home Inspections, Apex Title and TCBB. He is the backbone of the largest single family home Property Management Company in Arizona. He has helped to create new technologies and software programs including ASLAN for Brewer Caldwell to manage and efficiently track our sales and property management transactions. He loves working with new investors as well as seasoned investors. Brett loves real estate. He owns four commercial properties, over 80 acres of land that he is currently developing, and owns 30 investment properties throughout Arizona. Brett is passionate about helping people get into real estate and achieve their financial goals.
Aaron Dutcher
Executive Director and Associate Broker
Aaron was studying to be a structural engineer when he realized he had a great love and talent for working with people and real estate. Aaron has worked and grown with Brewer-Caldwell Property Management Inc. for the last 8 years. He is an owner in all Brewer-Caldwell's locations, including Gilbert, Tucson and the White Mountains as well as TCBB. As the Executive Director, he manages the daily operation of the largest single family property management company in Arizona. He works directly to create profit, build new and better business models, hire and train employees, develop and change policy and procedure, research and development, create and manage budgets, set standard operating procedures and so on and so forth. Aaron also retains ownership in RA Inc Real Estate, as well as ownership in Kadeez Maintenance, Lewis Home Inspections and Apex Title. Aaron has been successful in joining with other ambitious and skilled individuals to take a new and better business idea from concept to a successful reality. Aaron is a firm believer in real estate. He has fractional ownership in four commercial properties and currently has 10 investment properties of his own.
Brett Clarkson
Accounting Controller
Brett graduated from ASU with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He has worked in the accounting field for 8 years, 2 ½ of those at BrewerCaldwell. As the head of the finance department, he is involved in the daily operations, policy and procedures for the department and facilitating in all aspects of the finance department. Brett prepares all financial reports, forecasting and monitors the corporate (Gilbert, Tucson and White Mountains) and trust accounts. He is also involved in the financial operations of the four sister companies (Apex Title, Integrity Lending, Brewer-Lloyd Insurance, Lewis Home Inspection). He believes in real estate and currently has 2 investment properties of his own. He is an owner in Brewer-Caldwell Gilbert, White Mountains, Kadeez f and TCBB.
Damon Stratton
Maintenance Coordinator
Damon has worked for Brewer Caldwell for over five years. Recently he has taken over management of the maintenance department including Kadeez Maintenance. He is responsible for everything from hiring and scheduling vendors to following up, making sure the job is done properly to taking care of last minute emergencies. All the property managers depend on him to make sure every property is in tip top condition. Damon is especially good at communicating with clients and has received many positive comments and letters. He has also been working with our sales and I.T. departments to develop a seamless process from initial investment through successfully leasing a property. Following by example; Damon has begun to build his investment portfolio with property in Phoenix, AZ.
